Give Me Your Heart Backstreet Boys
Fan Club from La Plata city, Argentina
Our campaigns are
done in order to be helpful with the people most needed, collecting clothes, toys and food
for them. Since This Fan Club was created we have done seven campaigns and we are planning
to do more in the nearest future.
We want to show you
our work as a Fan Club. We apologize for the quality of the scanned photos because they
are not so clear.
Our First Campaign was for Christmas of 1997. We did it with help
of the fan clubs of Emanuel Ortega and Enrique Iglesias. What we collected was given to
the orphanage called San Francisco de Asís. The headmaster recieved us very happy and
invited us to spent the whole afternoon with the kids. Despite of the rain, we had a
beautiful time with those kids who show us the real meaning of Christmas.
The Fan clubs "Give Me Your Heart Backstreet
Boys", "Más que amigos" y "Experiencia religiosa" with some of
the kids.

Our second campaign was done because
of the terrible floods in the North of Argentina during April / May 1998. We decided to
collect clothes and food and took it to the newspaper called "El Día" from La
Plata which was making a big campaign. Once it was finished, we took the rest of the
things to Red Cross.

This paper was given to us at the newspaper
"El Día" when we left what was collected by us.

This newspaper clipping of May 1998 on which
appeared that we left 5 big plastic bags with clothes and 1 big plastic bag with
food.
Our Third Campaign was for "Children´s Day" in August,
1998. Give Me Your Heart
Backstreet Boys La Plata we recollect 16 big plastic bags with food, toys and clothes. This
campaign we did it with the following Fan Clubs: "Crazy for ´N Sync ",
"Más que amigos", "Playa, sol y palmeras", and "Boomerang".
We recollect so many things that we went to two different orphans: "Hogar
Bethel" and "San Roque". In the first one live 60 boys and girls from 2 to
18 years old. They have animals and a vegetal garden. They also have a small library where
volunteers go to teach the children. The second one provide sleeping place to those
families that need a place to live until they find something safe for ther children.
It was the best way to celebrate the "Children´s Day".

These are the plastic bags that we
recollect.

Our Fourth
Campaign was for Christmas 1998. Toys, food and clothes were taken to the orphan
"Los Amigos de San Roque". It was the same one we went for "the Children´s
Day". The kids recognized us inmediatly and that made us really happy. They invited
us to have an afternoon snack. We can´t explain to you with words the way that kids made
us feel. They are so grateful and they are really well-brought up. From this web we want
to send them BIG KISSES!!!!!!!!

Our Fifth Campaign
was done because of the earthquack in Colombia in January 1999. We recollect a big box
full of food and 6 big bags with clothes. But the Embassy of Colombia received the
donations only on week days. It was impossible for us to go there because it´s far away
from here and we could only get there on weekend. That´s why we send all of these to the
orphan "Bethel".
Our Sixth Campaign
was for "Children´s Day" 1999. We recollected toys, candies, clothes and food
and took them to the orphan "Los Amigos de San Roque".
Our Seventh
Campaign was done for "King´s Day" on January 6th, 2000. We gave the toys we
recollect to the newspaper "El Dia" which was making a big campaign. Besides
that, we recollect food, and clothes and we gave them to "Cáritas".
